Osteo-articular biomechanics (biomechanics, bone, mechanobiology)
The Biomechanics group of the Multiscale Modelling and Simulation CNRS Laboratory in the University Paris Est is interrested in describing bone tissue biomechanical behaviour. In particular, they develop: i/ multiscale in silico studies devoted to mimic bone remodelling process by quantifying multiphysical phenomena (poroelasticity, interstitial fluid flow, electro-chemistry, chemical transport...); ii/ multiscale and ultrasonic characterization of bone tissue; iii/ tissue engineering protocols using different drinving forces (hydraulic effect, electro-osmosis, chemo attraction...).
Every collaboration is welcome.
