Indiana University, Indianapolis Plan Medical Sciences Center.
Hi,
As per my information is Indiana University officials will announce plans today for a projected $35 million medical information sciences center that will serve as a crux of the area's budding life sciences initiative.
Including offices for several IU School of Medicine departments, the center will bolster a research park taking shape Downtown.
Chief Deputy Mayor Michael B. O'Connor called the announcement a crucial step in a major push by corporate, civic and academic leaders to increase jobs and business and research opportunities statewide in life sciences, which include such cutting-edge industries as biotechnolog.
thanks,
