Hello.
I am concerned about my mother. I believe she has developed a hemangioma on her arm, and she had no trace of it before. It has a width of about a quarter of an inch and is sort of violet/blue colored and has been growing rapidly over the past three weeks. I do not know if it really is a hemangioma, since hemangiomas usually only occur in newborns, or in old people; my mother is only 35 years of age. She has inquired a physician but he wasnt much help. He did say that it was an artery that was protruding out of the skin. Please let me know if you have any idas on what my mom has or should do to treat it.
