Today I came across the news in TOI that The Tourism Ministry of India is thinking to include Medical tourism as a part of Visit India Programme 2009.
About India, we know the fact that the ratio of no. of doctors to no. of patients is far less than the required one. Here Indian patient has to pay high, wait for long time to meet doctors, take prior appointment to meet doctors, maybe he is heart patient or cancer or else. This is the condition in urban area. Can you imagine what is the situation in rural one?

India is too back in medical facility, i went in India last year and i roamed many places such like that those have no hospital and doctors. there were such difficulty of transportation .
