Do you know that Diazepam is used to relieve anxiety, muscle spasms, and seizures and to control agitation caused by alcohol withdrawal? I didn’t while I‘ve learnt it on Pharmamedics.com.

Well this is the first time that I have learned there can be problems when someone leaves the alcohol consumption! Now this makes me curious to ask if the administration of medications are the right choice in such circumstances? Is it possible that someone gets addicted to these medications as they might feel unless they are on the said medicines their withdrawal symptoms would never wade off?
Expected people to talk about this, but as I can see there are no one discussing on the issue. Am talking about the alcohol addiction which is a common problem in men. I am also one of them and desperately want to overcome the habit to which all my attempts have gone in vain. Recently one of my associates told me drinking coffee can make my alcohol craving sustained. But then I do not want to get addicted to caffeine in process. Do tell me on the first place whatever he told has any justification and whether coffee can become an addiction too.

Several things have already been tried by me for my younger brother who also happens to be an alcoholic but you know nothing worked in his case. I am considering the best idea would be to take him to the Rehab Clinic or if anyone can tell me about home remedies.

This person that I met had an addiction to adult diapers. This site called ionmeds.com talked about how all in the asian world wereing adult diapers in a normal thing. What is the name of that addiction?
It is not a big issue. Some who is regular with alcohol and suddenly he give up it may be he/she has some problem but it will be ok after some day. There is no need to take drugs for it.
Slow and steady wins the race..So leaving the habit of conception of alcohol should be a slow step...
