Giraffe Omnibed Incubator

Hi,

Anybody knows which kind of battery I should use for Giraffe Omnibed Incubator,
I'm using a Rechargeable NiMH 9V-size (7.2 V), I charged the battery over the night but as soon as I unplugged the machine battery goes to 6.8 V within 5sec and machine stops the power failure alarm.
I even charged the battery out side the machine and put the fully charged battery back to the machine, but the same thing happened.
Have you experienced this problem before?
