I am a man 69 year old, height 169 cm, weight 75 Kg.
Pathology is started about 5 years ago and now shows the following symptomatology: sthenic deficit of finger flexor muscles; moderate deficit of leg quadriceps and flexor muscles; deficit of feet dorsal flexion with initial limitation of ankle; gait with mincing steps showing mild flexion of trunk; hyperextension of knee on tip-toe is impossible, barely on heel; initial dysphagia.
Biopsy of tibialis anterior muscle (sn) showed ; dysferlin antibody reactivity clearly reduced; presence of atrophic and hypertrophic fibers; some necrotic fibers; some fibers with rimmed vacuoles
Magnetic resonance indicated gastrocnemio muscles with remarkable atrophy and lipid infiltration.
Electromyography did not presented symptom of sensory-motor neuropathy
Blood analysis present high CPK values (1600-200 U/l). Myoglobin and muscular enzyme have the same trend
